We, Japan Bridge Corporation, celebrate its 90th anniversary July in 2009. During these years we have contributed to improvement of infrastructure of the country through works of many steel bridge girders and other structures, building skeltons, electric transmission towers and environmental products. As one of the leading steel fabricators, we always keep brushing our technologies so that we may do further participation for future projects. Various aspects of our business are shown on the following pages. We hope this home page help people understand our company more. Thank you for your access to our pages. |

Japan Bridge has contributed to development of social infrastructure since 1919. We have been making bridges, building skeletons and power transmission towers for 89 years. The quality of Japan Bridge's products has been amply proven in both domestic and overseas markets. We have contributed to the construction of the expressway networks of the Japan Highway Public Corporation, Honshu-Shikoku Bridges, power transmission towers of electric power companies, and many other structures. We also pioneered an entirely new bridge-erection system called PCT, "Pretensioned Cable Trusses", a system that saves considerable time and expense. In 1953, we were the first company in Japan to develop and build composite girder bridges.
Our products are not limited to Japan. With more than 89 years of experience,
our steel structures are admired by various industries and power projects all
over the world. As early as the 1930's, Japan Bridge's steel structures were
exported to neighboring Asian countries. Today, satisfied customers are found in
the U.S.A., Canada, and other countries.
We demonstrate our bridge construction enterprise in major domestic projects.
The past decade has seen the construction of many big bridges such as the Akashi
Kaikyo Bridge, the world longest suspension bridge with a center span of 1,991m,
the Tokyo Wan Aqua-Line, the Hitsuishijima and Shimotsui-Seto
bridges(Seto-Ohashi project), Higashi-Kobe bridge(part of the Osaka Bay Route),
the Connecting Bridge for Kansai International Airport, and many others.
Japan Bridge celebrate its 90th anniversary in 2009. Now , Japan Bridge, with
its long-experience and advanced technology, is participating in big national
projects including further Honshu-Shikoku bridges, and the Ise Bay Highway. We
are currently working on expanding the business field to improve the social
infrastructure.
